Going Beyond the State Guidelines

  • On July 21, we went through re-opening inspections through the Edison Health Department and the NJ state. DCM passed all requirements with flying colors!

  • The school is regularly inspected at the State (Department of Children and Families, Department of Health, and NJ Environmental Protection Agency) and the Township levels (Edison Health Department and Fire Department). DCM is extremely proud that we have always excelled in all these inspections.

  • The entire facility will be sanitized with hydrogen peroxide fogging daily.  Montessori educational materials and all frequently touched surfaces will be sanitized each time they are used.

  • Three separate HVAC systems constantly circulate and filter indoor air.

  • Upon arrival, children will stay in a line at least six feet apart and will be screened for fever and other COVID-19 symptoms prior to entry into the facility.  Visitors are not permitted to enter during the school hours.

  • Children will be checked for body temperature and any signs of symptoms at least three additional times in school during hand washing/lunch/bathroom break routines.

  • Each class is limited to a maximum of 10 children, and the classes are separated in different rooms or at least 10 feet apart
